I can not say enough about the care I received from Dr. Picard . I have been dealing with consistent back pain for the last 9 months and flair ups for a few years. After PT and other interventions and much frustration I finally found this practice. When I found this more naturalistic practice it changed my level of pain and quality of life. After my first visit and through evaluation I could feel a major difference with my back pain. With each visit the pain continues to be minimal or nonexistent. I also am thankful for Laura his assistant. She is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Michigan Integrative Health.

In the day and age that we live in where doctors always seem to be in a hurry, It is refreshing to have a doctor caregiver who takes the time to really listen and have such a passion to want to help you feel better. I have been very happy with the therapy I have received and also the weight that I’ve lost quite effortlessly. I feel I am on a healthy lifestyle. Thank you, Dr. Picard And Laura!

After seeing several medical doctors and taking several different prescription meditations, I finally found a doctor whom I believe got to the “root” of my pain and suffering. Dr Picard and staff are amazing! Dr Picard is so caring, courteous, informative, patient and knowledgeable. And guess what? He listened to me! Not once did I feel rushed! At age 76 I am walking and sleeping better and instead of climbing up the stairs and coming down backwards I am able to use the stairs normally with minimal pain (and no pain meds) which I believe will diminish as I stay disciplined in the plan outlined for me and take one day at a time. Overall, I just feel good and looking forward to walking the aisles of Home Goods!!! I am extremely grateful for Dr. Picard and staff and I will recommend them in a heartbeat.

When I first started coming I couldn't feel my left leg due to my back issues walking and daily activities were a struggle most days. I always had heart burn 24/7 and every time I ate I'd feel sick. Dr. P is very knowledgeable and is straight forward with you and I'm very grateful for his help and kind office staff. I'm still new in my road to healing my body and I can say I haven't felt this good in a very long time.

Dr. Picard is very knowledgeable. I am a ballroom dancer and have had issues with my knees for years. If left untreated i would be heading for knee replacement. I was looking for an alternative. Stem cell injections were the answer for me. The healing process is ongoing but i am definitely seeing improvements. The pain has lessened considerably and movement of the joints is much easier. I can stand from sitting with ease and the pain i used to experience going up and down stairs is drastically reduced. Im looking forward to dancing for hours on pain free knees. My right knee was swollen 24/7, woke me up in the night with shooting pain, I wasn’t sleeping and my mobility was getting worse. The pain and swelling was so constant I was taking up to 10 Advil per day. Having a knee replacement was something that I didn’t want to do as I would have months off work and weeks of therapy and then likely have to have it done again in my lifetime. No thanks! I received my first umbilical cord knee injection on Nov. 14, 2022. This first shot I noticed an immediate improvement and had no trouble or pain driving 2 hours home which normally would be brutal! However, unfortunately, this didn’t last and shortly thereafter the pain was there but not quite as constant. Dr. Picard explained that it takes at least 3 months to build new tissue so I had to be patient! My booster shot took place on Dec. 12, 2022 and over the next month I would have days when the swelling, pain and pressure was much better but then other days whereby I had to take Advil. I did not do any exercises during this time. I was still very concerned that the $8,000 CDN was not going to be worth it. I was still taking Advil but not as often. I also started back on my Omega 3’s (2) (900 mg) caps per day) Costco have them and only $20. 2 per day unless you have rheumatoid arthritis and then they recommended 4 caps. It’s on the bottle. Finally I went back for my final 3rd booster shot on January 9, 2023. It is now Feb. 12, 2023 and I am thrilled and so so happy to tell you I have not been taking any Advil, my knee is 97% pain free 100% of the time! I can also kneel, bend down (wiped all my baseboards today) and the swelling in my knee has reduced by about 85% or more. I am extatctic with my results and no surgery. My curiousity is how long will this las? Will this last for life? I am so great full for Dr. Picard in encouraging me to be patient. I expect new tissue will continue to grow and I will see more results. I can now keep up to my grandchildren without pain . My mobility was becoming a major concern for me as all I was able to do was sit. I now have my life back and do not regret paying. Just wish Canada would do more clinical trials to be able to get this covered by OHIP as so many waiting for knee surgery and surgery is not necessary!!! I didn’t miss one day of work! My gratitude to Dr. Picard and his team for taking such great care of me and the personal calls from Dr. Picard to explain all of my concerns early on. Do not read or listen to negative comments on here. They are wrong and could have been posted by a pharmaceutical company ! Who knows. I highly recommend umbilical cord stem cell therapy to anyone!
